Aim to (idiom)

Try or intend to do something.

Aim at (idiom)

Direct a missile or criticism at something or someone.

  • In his last speech the President took aim at the opposition leader.
  • He aims at finishing tomorrow.

Hi prachi,
You are doing a great service by running this blog and the GMATSC blog. Please keep up the good work.

One point I felt: Some explanations are too technical (eg. subjunctive ones, idiom ones) for laymen like us who do not have as good a command over English grammar as you to understand clearly. If you could simplify/elaborate a bit, it would go a long way in helping us.
